Cowboy Christmas and Ten Year Celebration

This is an attempt to cover the outside events of our ten year celebration and our Cowboy Christmas. The wagon you are looking at was donated by a wagon master rebuilder. This is our third time to use the wagon in our ministry. Almost all the wagon is the original wagon built by Charter Oak Wagons back in the early 1800.

There is always a little music along with the wagon while the fire is making coals for the cooking. Thanks to the Master Wagon Chef and to Tammy and yours truly in the cap. It was a little cool but it warmed up as we got into the cooking and the coffee. Thanks Tammy and Freddy.

Freddy is the Wagon Cook. He loves to cook in the dutch ovens close to the wagon. He can really cook peach cobblers and biscuits and any thing else he sets his mind to doing. Freddy is a Foreman of a 20,000 acre ranch near the the Devils River and he loves his work and he is the best I know at what he does.

Freddy has always been very dependable to come and cook and entertain with his guitar. There have been times when work came first and that is just the way it is sometimes. When you ride for the brand, the brand comes first... as it should.

The rest of the cooking crew. From left to right is Pie Dough, David, Gary and Freddy. Thanks guys for making the Peach Cobblers and the camp fire coffee.

A picture that speaks louder than words. It was GOOD TOO.

Some first time visitors. They enjoyed every minute of it.

Some more first timers. I have a good feeling they will be back next year.

Some of the Body of Christ of Millersview Church that made this celebration time a success. Thanks Jody, Michael and Tammy.

Little more Music from Freddy and Tammy.

The man and his wife that are responsible for us having the Wagon. Thank you Johnny and Nancy for making the 6 hour drive to be with us all the way from the high plains of Texas.

More new comers to enjoy the events and I feel like they will return again next year.

Thanks Bob for helping to clean up on the Peach Cobbler. Bob is one of our Deacons.

THANKS TO ALL THE BODY OF CHRIST AT MILLERSVIEW CHURCH FOR THIS TIME OF WORSHIP TO OUR LORD FOR THE BIRTH OF HIS SON A HAPPY AND GLORIOUS TIME. WE HERE AT MILLERSVIEW WISH YOU AND YOURS A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR.

  1. Both posts were great, dad! Can't believe you all have been doing this for 10 years. I know all those you attend are grateful it's done and enjoy it immensely. :)
