Wow! What a way to celebrate Memorial Day Sunday. Making memories.
Ashlyn Gave her life to Christ and ask to be baptized to follow Jesus Christ and show this outward expression of a changed life that has
occurred inside her heart.

Tammy is a young lady I have known for sometime. Her husband and I coached together a while back. Tammy has known the Lord as her savior almost all her life but had never made that personal decision to follow Jesus in baptism. So she did. It made the time very special when she ask if I would baptize her. Thanks Tammy for making the day a very special one for me as well.

Baptized in the name of the Father, The Son, and Holy Spirit.
Future candidates for following Jesus Christ in
baptism after they ask Him into their hearts and accept the gift of life that comes only from Him, the Father through the son Jesus Christ.

A very important group of supporters. Quiet a few have been where these folks are today. Lake Ivie has been and will continue to be a very important part of our church. We have baptized some 26 people here at the lake and continue to Glorify God with the
baptisms and our worship.

A very special moment. Polly wanted to make her relationship with Jesus more personal and she ask to be baptized to show that she has made a personal decision from her heart to follow Jesus.

John came forward after we went to the water to do the other
baptisms. He said he was a little nervous to get up in front of the crowd to make his profession of faith. But he felt a tug at his heart strings to follow Jesus. He made his profession in front of the people and he
felt good about it when he did. Thanks John for following the Lord and asking Him to come into you life.

These two young men are recent graduates. Both are very fine young men. We at the church wanted to arm them with the Sword Of The Spirit so we gave them each the Word Of God. I pray they will use it to protect them from the fire darts of the evil one as they enter college next year.

Then came the fish fry. I don't think I need to say more. WHAT A DAY. Thank you to all who gave some and to all Who gave all for us to be able to live in a country of freedom.
Have a great day and give God all the praise.
Your post just made me cry. I loved being there last summer when you baptized several and I love with some come from out of the crowd who before had not planned to come "down". It's so real. I love seeing fisherman in the back as well. I'm so proud you two are my parents and all that you do with and for others.
