R.J and Camp Sierra Vista

Our granddaughter Riley had a very enjoyable experience this summer at Camp Sierra Vista. She is the one with the light brown hair. These four beauties we first saw when we arrived for closing. This is Riley"s second year to be a camper at this camp. I think that you can tell by the smiles on their faces that a good time was had by all.

Riley accepts an award at the closing cermony. Her tribe won the over all competition for the term. Last year Riley was one of a few campers that completed a one mile swim in the river that serves the camp as a canoeing and swimming water front.

These two young ladies were the leaders of Riley"s tribe. They look like leaders don't they?

These are the young ladies that led the opposing tribe. I like their colors.

If Riley attends camp enough years then she will receive a blanket. Some parents called the blanket the most expensive blanket on the market. It was a great outing and we enjoyed seeing Tracy and all the grandparents. We ended the visit with a burger at the Hunt Store. The Gaudalupe River is still very pretty and the giant cypress trees are still very tall and awesome. Thanks Riley for being the fantastic young lady that you are.
I pray that all young people had a great summer and will have a greater school year.
In Christ, have a great day.

  1. Thanks for sharing the pictures dad. She'll have those camp memories her whole life. Thanks for sending me when I was growing up. I loved it!
