WORD

Definition of the word -- Word.

A message of assurance, guarantee, authorization, promise, command, order, creation, or information- conveyed with the intent of being received and acted upon-

All words flow from a living source of meaning, reflect ongoing life- related meaning, and produce life- imparting meaning in the minds and hearts of those who perceive , receive and believe them.

With the above definition in mind lets look at John 1:1-5 , 10-18

In the beginning was the WORD, and the WORD was with God, and the WORD was GOD. He was in the beginning with GOD. All things were made through him and without Him nothing was made.In Him was life and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the light of darkness, and the darkness did not understand it.

He was in the world and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. He came to His own and His did not receive Him. But as many as received Him to them He gave the right to become children of God. To those who believe in His name, who were born not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man but of God The WORD became human and lived among us. We beheld His glory the glory that only belongs to the only son of God--and He was full of grace and truth

ANOTHER WORD.

Hamartia_ The error of judgement or tragic flaw in our character.(2) an archery term that means to "miss the mark."

We as a society were created in the image of God to receive and to impart love to one another. Though created for love there are obstacles in the world that play a role in our judgement and we all make errors in judgement and miss the mark. A simpler way of saying this is "we all sin and fall short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23) .
Paul says in Romans 7:15,19&20
I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do. But what I hate I do. For what I do is not the good I want to do: No the evil I do not want to do-this I keep on doing. Now if I do what I do not want to do, It is no longer I who does it but it is Sin living in me that does it.

Sin and Grace are two most important realities of life. Sin breaks life apart and Grace gives us life again. Grace reunites us with God and one another. With Christ we can overcome the obstacles of sin. There is always more Grace in God than sin in us. No obstacle can separate us from the Love Of God.
Romans 8:31,38 & 39
What then shall we say in response to this? If God is for us who can be against us? For I am convinced that neither death nor life neither angels nor demons neither present nor the future nor any powers neither height nor depth nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus.

Have a blessed Day.
