Gifts

The other gift of unbroken points tells me another story. As a result of what happened on the cross at Calvary we will be made perfect by the blood of Of Jesus and when we come into the presence of God one day our broken points will be made perfect because we have accepted the gift of Grace. Ephesians2:8 "For by Grace you have been saved through Faith and that not of your selves it is a gift of God". A gift is not a gift unless one accepts it from the Giver. It Is Your Choice.
Have a blessed day.

Gifts are very precious and hold so many memories. For each unbroken point there is a memory of where you were when you found it.For each broken point you might not recall where you were because it does not mean as much to you as an unbroken point. Broken and unbroken points started out from a common source. In this case it was a piece of flint. The maker did not intend to brake the flint but it happens sometime. In this picture of the cross all points are broken. When I received this gift I was blown away by the significance of this cross.

On the cross of Calvary our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ gave his body and blood for us so that we could be saved from our sins. The crown of thorns- the nails in his wrist and feet-the spear thrust into his side describes how His body was torn and broken. His blood was shed from these wounds for the forgiveness of our sin when we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. When I saw that the flint cross contained only broken points and how it represented the broken body of our Lord I congratulated the maker of the cross for the story it told. The maker of the cross admitted that he did not have that in mind when he made it. God works in mysterious ways sometime. I believed he used this person and his gift of making things to tell a story.
